What is Retrofit Windows

Retrofit doors, also known as replacement doors, are new door products that are installed within the existing door frames of a home. In retrofit door installation, the old door is carefully removed, but the frame remains in place.

Replacement windows have been designed so a contractor does not remove the exterior materials of the home in order to install the window; they are measured to fit existing window opening and will only replace the actual window itself.
